Missing Partner Exceptions

Syncrofy will create an exception for processed documents that do not have an identified partner associated with it (i.e. the partner does not contain a Business Identifier). For this type of exception, you have the option of adding a Business Identifier to that partner or creating a new partner with that particular identifier. 

To resolve the exception, click on it to open the "Missing Partner" pop-up menu. Then, click the ellipses icon in the upper right-hand corner. Click the Identify Partner button to open the pop-up menu and create a new partner. To resolve the exception immediately and leave the partner unidentified, click the Resolve without Identifying button.

 

Creating a New Partner

  1. Select "New Partner" in the Identify Partner pop-up menu on the right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Type in the name of the partner in the text box.
  3. Click the Continue button.

 

Adding a Business Identifier to an Existing Partner

  1. Select "Existing Partner" in the Identify Partner pop-up menu on the right-hand side of the screen.
  2. Type in the name of the existing partner in the text box and click on the partner.
  3. Click the Continue button.
  4. Review the information in the "Commit Partner Information" pop-up menu.
  5. Click the Confirm button to save.
