Replay a document, batch of documents, or a file in Syncrofy. Syncrofy now allows you to replay a document, a batch of documents, or a file. In the past, Syncrofy was a read-only solution. Now for the first time, you can send data from Syncrofy to internal teams or your trading partners. Upon replay, Syncrofy uploads the replayed item onto an SFTP server. From there, you have the ability to download or share it with your internal teams or trading partners.

**PLEASE NOTE Replay requires some manual set up and an SFTP server to be created.  Users also require special permission to leverage Replay functionality.  Replay functionality is available to full cloud Syncrofy customers only. Contact your Customer Success Manager to discuss how to take advantage of this feature. **

Step 1:

You can replay individual documents by going to the Documents tab and selecting a single document, then clicking “Replay” at the bottom of the page.

Step 2:

Upon replaying an individual document, the details page will contain a timestamp indicating the “Replayed On” date and time.

Step 3:

To replay a batch of documents, go to the Documents tab, select multiple documents, and click “Replay” at the bottom of the page. Please note there’s a maximum of 60 documents that can be replayed in a single time.

Step 4:

Before submitting a Replay, you will need to provide a reason for replaying the item. This can be done in the comments section of the details page.

Step 5:

You can also replay an individual file containing single or multiple documents by going to the details page of the file and clicking “Replay Original File” from the “More” menu.

Step 6:

Upon replaying a file, the details page will contain a timestamp indicating the “Replayed On” date and time.

Step 7:

All replayed documents and files are uploaded onto an SFTP server for you to download and share.

XML Parsing Capability. Syncrofy now has the ability to parse XML data. It can now add data to the original EDI document by uploading the XML—allowing you to upload the delta in data through an XML file and further enhance your EDI document. The XML data is then available to download to a CSV report so you can share it with your internal teams and trading partners.

**PLEASE NOTE- XML Parsing functionality is available to full cloud Syncrofy customers only.  Contact your CSM to discuss how to take advantage of this feature. **

Step 1:

Add specific configurations for XML data parsing and storing.

Step 2:

Correlation is then performed in the background between non-EDI data captured from the XML with existing EDI documents.

Step 3:

Then, download a CSV report to see the non-EDI XML data.

Step 4:

You can then view and download the original XML file of the correlated documents by selecting it from the dropdown menu.

Step 5:

The parsed and correlated document, including updated EDI and the original XML file, are now uploaded onto an SFTP server for you to download and share with internal teams and partners.
